With last summer’s Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, and it’s $481 million box office, under his belt, director Rupert Wyatt has a lot of Hollywood interested in what his next film will be. Well that mystery has been answered as the director has begun shopping a project around town called Agent 13. Charlize Theron is attached to star and screenwriter T S Nowlin is scripting.
But as for what the film is about, well that is a new mystery. All we know from the Variety report announcing the project is that it is a science-fiction spy story. And with Theron attached, I would safely venture to expand that to a sexy science-fiction spy story.
And while we don’t know what it is, it appears that Sony, Warner Bros, Paramount, Universal and 20th Century Fox are all interested in paying some bucks to make it. And that makes us interested. Hopefully answers will be coming soon.
