With a start of late April/early May, reports are starting to come in that sets on Iron Man 3 are already under construction. The film is set to be shot in Wilmington, North Carolina at EUE/Screen Gems Studios.
And as production begins to ramp up, it is also being reported that the production is using the fake title of Caged Heat when dealing with the local Wilmington film industry. It is not uncommon for a production to shoot under a false title as a means of throwing off fans and paparazzi from trying to find out where shooting is happening, although they seldom keep that secret for very long.
Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Jon Favreau are all back for the third installment with Shane Black taking over directorial duties from Favreau.
