Whedon’s IN YOUR EYES Gets Its Two Leads

In Your Eyes, the second film from Joss Whedon’s production shingle Bellwether Films, has cast the two leads. Billed as a “metaphysical love story,” Michael Stahl-David and Zoe Kazan are set to portray the star-crossed lovers.

Written by Whedon, the story reportedly has the two never meeting person, but who can somehow see and hear each other. An intriguing premise to be sure, and it’ll be interesting to see how Whedon plays it out. Stahl-David will play an ex-con living in a trailer in New Mexico, while Kazan will play a house wife married to an older doctor in Connecticut.

Stahl-David may be familiar from Cloverfield, and Kazan has had numerous supporting roles in films like In The Valley Of Elah, Revolutionary Road and Happythankyoumoreplease and the HBO series Bored To Death.

In Your Eyes, which will be directed by Brin Hill, is set to be the second release from Bellwether, following Whedon’s Shakespeare adaption Much Ado About Nothing, which he filmed shortly after he wrapped principal photography on The Avengers.
