Katee Sackhoff, best known to genre fans as Starbuck on SyFy’s Battlestar Galactica, has joined the cast of David Twohy’s Riddick, the third film in the franchise starring Vin Diesel. She’ll be playing Dahl, a mercenary tracking the titular anti-hero played by Diesel.
Now back in production following a two month hiatus while funding issues were addressed, Riddick is a follow up to 2004’s The Chronicles Of Riddick and 2000’s Pitch Black, featuring Diesel as the last-of-his-kind warrior in the far future. The film originally started production under the title The Chronicles Of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking.
