Sony is looking to make a Sex Tape with Jason Segel and Reese Witherspoon. The studio would like to cast to pair in the Kate Angelo scripted comedy that they bought back in June for seven figures. Sony reportedly has extended offers to the two actors and is currently in talks with Nick Stoller to direct.
The story revolves around a couple who decide to spice up their love life by videotaping a night of passion. However, when they wake up they discover that they can’t find the tape, leading to a mad scramble to recover it.
The film would be another pairing of Segel and Stoller, who co-wrote next month’s The Muppets and Forgetting Sarah Marshall which Stoller directed.
