Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, the wrap up to his Batman trilogy, has only been in production in Pittsburgh for less than a week and already a load of pictures and video has surface from location shooting.
The first couple of photos that surfaced over the weekend showcased the film’s villain Bane (Tom Hardy) standing on top of a version of the Batman’s tumbler (painted to look like it did in the first film, Batman Begins) delivering some kind of speech. These came from over at Just Jared.
There’s also a fight sequence that was shot at the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research between Batman (Christian Bale) and Bane that shot on Sunday. You’ll notice that there is plenty of fake snow flying around in many of the photos, which matches up with what I heard from someone last week who was picked to be an extra and told that they would need to be bring a winter coat to the shoot. Below are just a sampling of the ones available from Getty Images and Eyeprime.

That outfit and the pose on the car reminds me of the Mutant Leader from Dark Knight Returns.
