The ranks of the cast for the upcoming GI Joe 2 have swelled by two more. The Paramount sequel has just added RZA and D. J. Cotrona are both in negotiations to appear in the sequel.
The pair join returning cast members Tatum Channing and Ray Park, and new cast member Dwayne Johnson and Elodie Yung.
Rapper-turned-actor RZA will be playing the martial arts master known as the Blind Master who trained Joe team members Snake Eyes (Park) and Jinx (Yung) in the ways of the ninja. Cotrona will be playing the shotgun-wielding Flint. In the comics, Flint had a romance with fellow team member Lady Jaye. There’s no word as to whether or not that character will be in the new film, though.
Jon Chu will be directing this installment with cameras set to roll later this year.
