SUCKER PUNCH Extended R-Rated Cut Coming To Blu-Ray

I’ll admit that I found Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch to be an ambitious, sprawling mess of a film. Snyder was striving to say something but I don’t think he was able to quite get past his desire to stage visually excessive action sequences to articulate it clearly in cinematic terms. Perhaps Snyder does a better job of it in the upcoming R-rated extended cut of the film that will be coming out on blu-ray announced today.

The new version of the film will hit store shelves on June 28 and contain an additional 18 minutes of footage not seen in the Sucker Punch‘s original theatrical release.Additionally, the blu-ray will feature Maximum Movie Mode featuring branching off, director walk-ons and more, animated prequel sequences and more.

Here’s the complete sales one-sheet that Warner Brothers has released.
