It appears that it is now time to start the marketing of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Herge’s comic strip The Adventures Of Tintin with the release over the last 24 hours of two posters and a teaser trailer.
Of course the biggest challenge of that process is introducing the character to audiences in America who aren’t as familiar with the strip as the rest of the world is. I think that both versions of the trailer below does just that, hinting at a mystery, some action and adventure. As for the slight bit of out-of-synch lip movement right at the end of the trailer, my guess is that the dialogue is from a different part of the movie and just dropped over the scene. As you can see, in the second trailer they use a different bit of dialogue.
