Three weeks ago we reported that Keanu Reeves had stated that a script for a possible third Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure film was six weeks away from being completed. It turns out that Reeves was a bit off in his estimate as Alex Winter, his co-star from the two science-fiction comedies, has tweeted that he just received his copy of the script.
So not only is there some concrete movement on a third Bill And Ted film, it looks like it might be moving along a bit faster than expected. Hopefully, this could be a sign that writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who wrote the first two installments, have been energized by what story idea they have devised for this new chapter. Rumor has it that the story will focus on the fact that the second film ended with Bill and Ted becoming frustrated with the fact that they haven’t written the world changing song that they were prophesized to write in the earlier films.
