It’s been a busy week for those looking forward to Twentieth Century Fox’s Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes. Monday saw the release of a couple of seconds of completed footage of Andy Serkis’ motion capture performance work as the ape Caesar. Today we have the film’s first trailer and eight pieces of concept art that the film released on it’s Facebook page.
I have to admit that the scope of the film as hinted at in the art and the trailer is bigger than I anticipated. Additionally, the film looks like it might be continuing the tradition of the best films of the original franchise of discussing social issues by addressing animal testing and genetic engineering.
