While we’re still waiting to see if Jurassic Park 4 is really in production secretly (though I tend to doubt it), news has hit this afternoon that the first three films are being readied for a release on blu-ray disc later this year.
In an interview with Ecranlarge, Universal France marketing director Eric Legay stated that all three installments of the Jurassic Park franchise will be coming to the high-def format in 2011.
Of course, there’s no details yet as to how the films will be released, either individually, in a box set or both or what extras may appear on them. Though I think that we can safely bet that director Steven Spielberg will not be contributing a commentary track, given his anathema towards them before.
