When we last checked up on the in development crime thriller Law Abiding Citizen, its fall location shooting in Philadelphia was being scuttled by director Frank Darabont’s departure from the project. Since then, director F. Gary Gray has signed on to the project and The Longest Yard remake screenwriter Sheldon Turner has been working on another polish of the script.
With cameras now set to roll on January 21 in Philadelphia, four more cast members for the film have been announced. Joining stars Gerard Butler and Jaimie Foxx in the City of Brotherly Love will be Michael Gambon, Leslie Bibb, Colm Meaney and Theresa Randle. There is no word as to what parts they will be playing.
Law Abiding Citizen tells the story of a man (Foxx) who goes on a rampage after one of the men who murdered his wife and child is set free on a plea bargain.
