Late last week, an earlier version of the final one sheet for Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film The Wrestler. Now, we have the official, final version of the poster for your purusal.
Mickey Rourke stars as a washed up professional wrestler who contemplates going back into the ring even though it may kill him. It is Aronofsky’s first film since the poorly received The Fountain (2006).
Although it still has a month until it hits theaters, The Wrestler has already been gathering positive notices from its handful of film festival screenings it has already had. This one has been one my short list of anticipated films of the season, a time when a lot of Oscar bait will be hitting the screen.
