MY NAME IS BRUCE Poster Is Now Here

The smirk. The hair. And, especially, the Chin.

It can only be Bruce Campbell.

We’ve been waiting for a while for the release of his film My Name Is Bruce, in which he plays a fictionalized version of himself hired to rid a small town of a slight demon problem. Think of it as Galaxy Quest or Three Amigos, but with Bruce Campbell.

Unfortunately, the poster for the film, which should finally hit screens this fall, doesn’t really do much for me. The elements looks a little too photoshopped together. There doesn’t really seem to be any reality shared between Bruce and the Chinese demon dude behind him. Maybe it’s the really cheesy twinkles on the blade? Take a look yourself by clicking on the poster for a bigger version.

It looks almost as if the image in the back was taken from the cover of the My Name Is Bruce comic adaptation. They just replaced the drawn Bruce with the real Bruce.

That’s OK, I’m just going to re-Photoshop him out and replace him again with Rich Drees when I finish my documentary “My Name is not Rick Dees”. But I actually won’t need to change the hair.

Well, what else would you do to people who think you’re Rick Dees?
