Misunderestimating W

Film School Rejects have a picture of a series of posters that have shown up in Denver for Oliver Stone’s upcoming George W. Bush biopic W. Those following the presidental elections probably know that Denver will be hosting the Democratic National Convention in two weeks time.Talk about targeted marketing.

I’m sure that some will complain about the posters’ tag line- “A life misunderestimated.” I wouldn’t agree. When someone in the public eye known for their malpropisms, its fair to link them to him. If there was ever a biopic about Yogi Bera, I would hope its tagline would read “90 per cent of this film is 50 per cent mental.”
