Back at the beginning of the summer, we were questioning whether Quentin Tarantino would be able to live up to his claim at the Cannes Film Festival that he would return in 2009 with his long talked about World War II film Inglorious Bastards ready for screening. Now it is starting to look like he just may be able to fulfill that promise, with the second piece of casting news for the project in as many days.
The director is now in talks with The Office writer/actor B. J. Novak for the role of the group of soldiers stuck behind enemy lines in wartorn Europe according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Bard Pitt and director Eli Roth are also in talks for roles in the film.
As Tarantino gears up for a fall shooting we can expect more casting news in the days and weeks to come.
And yes, at some poine we will stop with the Bastard pun headlines. Just not right away.
Speak for yourself, Rich.
