SDCC 2008: Preview Night: A Look Inside the Owlship

Tonight was preview night at the San Diego Con, and I made a beeline for the Warner Brothers Booth for one reason, because of the really cool bags they were giving out.

Kidding! It was because on they were displaying a replica of the Owlship from next year’s Watchmen movie.

It appears that the fabricators at Warner Brothers tried to make it as realistic as possible. It has kind of a military surplus look to it. It is more of an olive green than brown.

Yes, it does look big in pictures. But in person it looks really small. Well, at least to this 6′ 4″ reporter it did.

And the attention to detail was excellent, as you can see in the following pictures.

So does this mean you didn’t pick me up one of those cool plastic bags they were handing out?

Great pictures, Bill. But I feel like the only media geek left on the East Coast right now…
